We provide annual audit services to UK and international groups, including entities that require auditing because they form part of a group. If a UK company controls other entities as the head of a group, it may need to prepare consolidated financial statements and have these audited. We have a vast amount of experience in acting as group auditors and will oversee the entire group’s audit process in accordance with ISA600 (revised), collaborating with component auditors to ensure the audit is completed within the required timeframe.
If a company is part of an international group, the overseas auditors may require the UK subsidiary to be audited too. We can act as component auditors, whereby we liaise with the group auditors to agree on the scope of work and present our findings to them. The group auditors will use our work to form an opinion on the group’s consolidated accounts.
We have experience working with several international auditors, including PwC, KPMG, Deloitte, EY, and Baker Tilly, and have a strong understanding of the audit methodologies they use.
